How We Verify Pet Policies
We structure hotel pet rules into clear, decision-ready facts and flag anything that still needs reconfirmation.
1. Source review
We review the hotel's own text, OTA policy notes, or another clearly attributable source before we publish structured facts.
- We do not publish a positive rule just because an OTA says Pets allowed.
- We separate dog acceptance, cat acceptance, fees, deposits, and unattended-stay rules.
2. Uncertainty handling
If a detail is unclear, we say so. We use labels like Needs reconfirmation or Not clearly stated instead of guessing.
3. Review freshness
Each high-risk hotel rule set carries a review date. Top hotels should be checked more often than secondary inventory.
4. Corrections
If you notice a changed fee, a different cat rule, or another mismatch, send us a correction request and we will review it.
