Pet-Friendly Hotels in Cadiz and Cadiz Coast

A Cadiz guide built around official IHG, deLuna, Melia and Senator pet evidence, with separate routes for Playa Victoria, the historic center, Rota and Chiclana.

The short answer for Cadiz

Cadiz can now support a broader pet-friendly shortlist, but the right answer depends on where the trip is based. Start with Hotel Indigo Cadiz or Hotel Spa Cadiz Plaza for Playa Victoria, Senator Cadiz for a historic-center base, Gran Hotel Luna de Cadiz when you want a dog-and-cat rule with a 30 kg maximum, Playaballena for Rota / Costa de Cadiz, and Sol Sancti Petri when the Chiclana trip is dog-first.

The important boundary is that not every Cadiz Melia-family hotel should inherit Sol Sancti Petri's dog rule. Hotel Cadiz Paseo del Mar Affiliated by Melia is explicitly out for ordinary pet stays because the official internal regulations prohibit animals except guide dogs. Melia Zahara and Villas at Melia Zahara should stay as reconfirmation leads until their own pages publish a clean pet-friendly service block.

Which Cadiz hotel to check first

  • Choose Gran Hotel Luna de Cadiz when you need the clearest broad pet answer: the reviewed deLuna pet-program rules allow dogs and cats, one pet per room, and a 30 kg maximum. The fee still needs confirmation because the supplement depends on weight.
  • Choose Sol Sancti Petri for a Chiclana / Cadiz Coast dog stay when two dogs or no published weight cap matter more than a city-center base. The official Sol page says to add the pet-friendly service during booking and check conditions, so the final supplement remains a booking-stage check.
  • Choose Hotel Indigo Cadiz when Playa Victoria and Cadiz city access are the first filters. IHG marks the hotel as pet-friendly and the hotel FAQ says pets are welcome, but the reviewed page does not publish the final fee, weight limit, pet count, or cat-specific wording.
  • Choose the Senator cluster when cat acceptance, two-pet wording or a published fee matters. Senator's official pet rules cover Senator Cadiz, Hotel Spa Cadiz Plaza and Playaballena with dogs, cats, up to two pets, a 25 kg combined limit, EUR25 cleaning fee and EUR12 nightly supplement.

Do not overstate the Cadiz Coast

  • Hotel Cadiz Paseo del Mar Affiliated by Melia is a strong Playa Victoria hotel, but the official internal regulations reviewed for this batch prohibit animals except guide dogs, so it should not appear in pet-friendly recommendations.
  • Melia Zahara, Villas at Melia Zahara, Palacio de Sancti Petri Gran Melia, and MiM Sotogrande should stay out of positive pet landing counts until their own official pages publish a pet service as clear as Sol Sancti Petri's.
  • Do not submit Cadiz no-pet-fee pages yet. The Senator rules publish a cleaning fee and nightly supplement, Gran Hotel Luna still depends on weight, and the other verified hotels do not prove a no-supplement stay.

What to reconfirm before paying

  • For Hotel Indigo Cadiz, ask for the exact pet fee, weight limit, pet-count limit, and whether your species is accepted in your room type.
  • For Gran Hotel Luna de Cadiz, confirm the supplement for your pet's weight and whether a deposit will be requested at check-in.
  • For Sol Sancti Petri, confirm the exact room category, the booking-stage pet service amount, and whether both dogs are accepted for your dates.
  • For Senator Cadiz, Hotel Spa Cadiz Plaza and Playaballena, check whether the 25 kg limit applies to your actual pet mix, because the published rule is a combined weight cap for up to two pets.
